I am been reading Froen In Time for nearly 2 weeks. This book is written by Mark Kurlansky. He is the New York Times bestselling author, and he lives in New York City. This book is about Birdseye who invent frozen food. I have read 5 chapters of this book. The most interesting thing is the relationship between ideas and movements.
He is successful. Because his courage and ideas. He is not like others. He wants adventure, and he thinks that world needs more ideas in his time period. In my opinion, I think we should learn from him. We should always have both ideas and the courage to make them true.
The truth is that we do not even have our own ideas. We are different form robots because we have our own independent thought. In the book, Birdseye always has his own opinion, and he always try to do things in a new way, so he can invent frozen food. If he did not have that idea, we wouldn't have frozen food, which means that we cannot have cold soda easily in the summer. Every single idea may change the whole world so much, so everyone should think deeper and comprehensive. I was studying in China 1 year ago. To be honest, it was a tough time. I don't have to much time to think about anything except test and homework. Personal opinion was a stranger for me, because the only reading materials I had in school were school book. The only thing I did was that I copyed down what teacher said. I did not have much opportunity to ask a question. I am glade I am here now at Cheshire Academy. Now, I can ask questions; I can study what I am interested in; I can have so many informations from different place. I learn more, see more, and know more, and all of those things make me to think more independently and thoughtfully.
